Kit Kat: Have a break, Have a KIT KAT
Written on January 24, 2008 by KiwiPulse · Posted in Advertising, Video · 7 Comments
Since my Coca-Cola: Collection of the Happiness Factory videos post released back in August 2007, I have never seen any other brilliant and creative videos until now. It seems that Kit-Kat, the popular worldwide chocolate bar by Nestle, is trying to conquer France with this funny parody video. They made this amazing animation with 3d characters that have an interesting storyline.
If you haven’t had this chocolate bar in your life, you must never had a break then! This yummy chocolate bar consists of four mini fingersize bars with each bar having three layers of creme-filled wafer and covered in an outer layer of chocolate. Have a break, Have a KIT KAT! I hope to see more of this story soon!

How I Boost My Entrecard Credits By Dropping
Written on January 23, 2008 by KiwiPulse · Posted in Various · 5 Comments
For the past week, I have been focusing on promoting my blog through Entrecard. So far, I have spent over 3,000 credits on my advertising campaign with the expectation of receiving more visitors to my blog. But looking at my statistics it showed that I haven’t generated that much visitors by the advertising campaign (as you can see on the Advert Clicks chart below). The maximum clicks I received in one day this month is 66, which is not enough to buy me a beer. I wanted to cry after realizing that my 3k credits investment didn’t result in a successful advertising campaign!
So I decided to analyze the stats in further detail and discovered that the advertising campaign is not the most effective way to increase visitors. Don’t waist your credits on advertising campaign!
Car Drops - This chart shows the number of cards that were dropped on your blog each day. A good number of drops improves your advertising price, and your position in the Campaign listings.
Advert Clicks -This chart shows the number of clicks through to your site from the adverts you have bought. More clicks indicate a more successful advertising campaign, and more visitors to your site.

Diesel: Live Fast. High Speed Shopping
Written on January 22, 2008 by KiwiPulse · Posted in Advertising · 9 Comments
I’ve seen ads promoting High Speed Internet Access, Internet Connections, Internet Services but nothing compared to these Diesel ads. Live fast. High speed shopping diesel.com is the slogan for a series of seven ads below. As I remember, Diesel always produce shocking ads and memorable commercials that makes you remember the company’s name. After all, that their intention! I guess they learned the basics from Marketing and Advertising 101. These ads really Rock My World! I like the idea and the execution of the ads. Some are funny and some are hard to watch. The baby, for example, poor little one! What is your take on these ads?

At that moment, my two main sources of traffic came from StumbleUpon and Google Search Engine. This generated over hundreds of thousands of visitors from StumbleUpon. You would think that I will eventually became rich with all the increase in traffic? That’s not so true, thus far I have earned nothing else from StumbleUpon other than traffic which increases my Alexa Rank. Other than the increase in traffic the users from StumbleUpon have the reputation of not clicking on ads.
How will we earn money from Google Adsense then? Well for me, it was applying tips given by other bloggers. With as little as 2% of traffic from Google, I managed to earn $100 with in two months! Before I started blogging, I have read from many other blogs as to how they made money with Google Adsense. They gave me enough good tips that helped me to generate some income.
