Lifestyle: Ultra Thin Panty Liners

Written on February 20, 2008 by KiwiPulse · Posted in Advertising · 9 Comments

Ladies, I am sure you all can relate to the ads below. You may want your panty liners to be ultra thin, but do you want the same for your clothing? I guess the answer would be a big NO NO!

Examine each ad closely. Do you think it’s body painting or photoshop? To me, it looks more like photoshop than the art of body painting. Look at the the third picture, it seems not natural at all. Yes, nudity sell but what do you think about this? Overall, it’s creative and different!

LifeStyles: Get Some NYC Condom

Written on February 18, 2008 by KiwiPulse · Posted in Advertising · 1 Comment

This year for Valentine’s Day, the city of New York has released this new condom package design with the same latex condoms as in the LifeStyles brand. The package design was designed by Fuseproject. “Help bring condoms out of the closet” said Yves Behar, founder of FuseProject.

Reminiscent of a condom shape warped into the surface of one’s leather wallet, the NYC Condom’s approachable shape and friendly brand helps create an air of openness and acceptance, thus removing the stigma of the condom as something to be ashamed off.

I guess it’s time to get some NYC condom :!:

Japan: Sapporo Snow Festival 2008

Written on February 16, 2008 by KiwiPulse · Posted in Various · 10 Comments

The Sapporo Snow Festival is held annually in February. It’s one of the largest winter event in Japan. This year is the 59th Festival of the International Snow Sculpture Contest at Odori Park site since 1974. Over 14 teams from various regions of the world participated this year. The 2008 festival is now closed, it was held on February 5 to 11. Every year about two million people come to Sapporo to see hundreds of beautiful snow and ice statues being displayed around the Odori Park, which is the grounds at Satoland and the main street in Susukino.

The Snow Festival began in 1950, when six local high school students built six snow statues in Odori Park. In 1955, the Japan Self-Defense Forces from the nearby Makomanai base joined in and built the first massive snow sculptures, for which the Snow Festival has now become famous. Several snow festivals existed in Sapporo prior to the Sapporo Snow Festival, however, all of these were suspended during World War II.

I think this is one of the place I wish to be in February! They know what to do with all the snow they received. My car is still stuck in the tall snow again. I think I’m gonna start making lots of little snowman around my car.
