Although I never took a yoga course before in my life but I think that people who wear yoga clothes looks more active and casual even if they don’t perform yoga. I guess it’s a way for some people to deceive others that they are fit! Below is an ad campaign by Rethink Communications for Karma, a clothing manufacturer specializing in athletic wear located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since Karma introduced their new Bamboo line in February 2008, it was a breakout success. They are developing and expanding their eco-friendly line and luxury line featuring sumptuous cashmere blends. Rethink Communications has found a very creative way to demonstrate that yoga wear is for everyone!
Coca Cola, the world’s largest soft drink manufacturer, have launched recently the new Coca Cola Zero. Their studies and research have shown that there are so many people who crave for the original Coca Cola taste, but don’t want the sugar. To please their customers (…and of course to cash in more revenue) the marketing plan for Coca Cola Zero has been designed to attract young men and women and the word “Zero” is to indicate that the new drink is completely sugar free. Can you also believe that they went all the way to customize the Coke Zero formulas to fit the different target market; this means that the ingredients will vary depending on the country.
Yes I have tried it myself and can confirmed that Coca Cola Zero tasted better than the old Coca Cola. They used aspartame instead of the high fructose corn syrup for sugar. Check out the funny videos below of their ad campaign using organs that can talk and taste. The brain is definitely more smarter than the one-side eye! Have you tasted the new Coca Cola Zero? Did you notice anything different? Is it better than the old Coca Cola?
If you have been using MSN Messenger to chat or share media files and videos with friends and family, like I do for years, you will know that there is a feature on MSN Messenger that let you create your own space or blog to share photos, music and thoughts with others. This feature is called Windows Live Spaces (also known by its users as MSN Spaces). Personally I think it’s a nice social networking platform where you can start blogging. Of all the gadgets that are available for Windows Live Spaces users, my choice will definitely go to the “Windows Media Player” gadget. This gadget give you ability to play and display music and videos on their Windows Live Spaces.
I have added below their ad campaign to share with you all. I think that the theme in this ad campaign portray a meaningful and suitable message; you can create your own space where your friends and family on MSN Messenger can visit. Yes it’s a world where everybody knows each other.
Windows Live Spaces received an estimated 27 million unique visitors per month. I think I will create a new account with them and see if I can drive some traffic to KiwiPulse // Rock Your World. Do you have a Windows Live Spaces?
You have probably noticed some changes to my blog this week. You’ve got it right, I have changed my advertising platform to an interactive slideshow which displays the hottest games to be released. It was my main project this week to improve Kiwipulse’s advertising platform. My first idea was to include video trailers of the soon to be released games from Youtube. I was then looking for a javascript or php script to easily manage all these data. But, I didn’t find anything that could fit with my idea. Then I came across a video (below) about Sprout Builder which got my attention and interest immediately! I signed up for an account with them which took one minute and I was ready to play with it.
What I like about Sprout Builder is that you have the capability to manage videos and pictures in the same frame, which will be displayed in Flash on your blog. After exploring the features and testing them on my blog, I discovered the video feature seem to have low image quality when displayed in Flash. Well they are still in Beta version so I will not ask for too much.
There are six pre-built templates which is perfect for blogs that are talking about sports, causes, personal topics, or politicians. As you know, my blog covers a variety of subjects. So I started building my Sprout from scratch which allows me to maximize my creativity and have the flexibility to customize the design and content. I can choose from over dozens of standard sizes or create my own size. Sprout comes with advanced components that you can add by simply dragging and dropping. You can add videos, pictures, slideshows, jukeboxes, RSS Feeds, PollDaddy, Google Graph, Ribbit, Chipin and more. Then when you are done building with your Sprout, you can easily publish it using the quick post feature to place on your blog or social networking profile. It is that simple! I love Sprout Builder!
How do you show endless pain in pictures? Simply show a wheel that never stop and put people suffering from endless pain on it. I don’t know if the ads will be effective but I like the ideas behind the organization that help people reducing their pain after a natural disaster or war. A big applause goes to Pain Without Borders, a French non-governmental organization supported by the World Health Organization and state-approved, for putting this ad campaign together.
The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) defines pain as “an emotional and sensory experience unpleasant related to tissue damage existing or potential or described in terms of such damage.” There are two main types of pain; the sharp pain and the chronic pain. The sharp pain of short duration such as post-operative pain and post-traumatic pain is caused by certain acts and care. In general, chronic pain includes back pain, chronic headaches, and cancer-related neuropathic pain.
I am lucky I live in a country without war and extreme natural disasters. Have you experienced endless pain?
