Drug Alcohol Rehab: Return To Yourself

In life everyone need a break or a temporary escape from reality sometimes. Whether it’s to help reduce stress, fill the emptiness or to relief the pain and sorrow in one’s life, people often tend to do things that they will not normally do. Some people may turn to positive activities like playing games, gardening, blogging, or shopping while other may turn to negative activities such as drinking, gambling, or taking drugs which potentially can ruin or kill one’s life. A big applause goes to those who choose the positive options. But unfortunately, for those who choose the negative path it can lead them to addiction because it has become their new way of life overtime. The addiction sometimes can dominate the mind and cause the addicts to steal, lie or even become abusive to their family members and friends.
Getting addicted maybe very easy but realizing that it’s a problem is not so easy. Addictions don’t happen overnight so it will take some time to recover. But the very first step to recovery is for the addicts to admit that they have a problem and want to seek professional help. Experts say that an addict take great steps to hide their habit. Even if you know someone who has an addiction problem, you can’t control their habit or stop them unless they really want your help. An addict has to recognize that they have a problem before you can take steps to help them overcome it. Until then, all you can do is make them aware that you’re prepared to offer your support when they’re ready.

McCain needed president Bush to help reunite his party to guarantee him the Republican nomination to succeed Bush. For President Bush, he needed the Arizona senator McCain to validate his presidency and carry forth his strategy in Iraq. This video below show how good relationship can be bad. Always choose your friend carefully. The good news is that they ate cake together.

Face Your Manga: Your Identity On The Web
Written on August 13, 2008 by KiwiPulse · Posted in Art · 9 Comments
I was looking for a new avatar to represent KiwiPulse in forums and other communities. I used to have an avatar of Jessica Alba’s face which attracted many bloggers to view my profile and visit my blog. Using celebrity’s face is one strategy in blog promotion which worked well but now I think it’s about time to search for a new face to give KiwiPulse a more suitable identity.
After some brainstorming, I had an idea to create an anime mascot but with my limited knowledge of photoshop it will take me a while to design one. So I decided to search the net for assistant. With the magic of Google search, I came across Face Your Manga. It’s a website where you can easily create a manga version of your face with unlimited combination of face, eyes, nose, ears, hairs, etc. This is very much similar to a promotion for the release of the Simpson’s movie where people can create their own Simpsons avatar.
I had so much fun creating my new avatar that I wanted to share this website with you all. Give it a try! I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I did!

The Dark Knight: Scratch Built Of The Batmobile
Written on August 7, 2008 by KiwiPulse · Posted in Various · 14 Comments
One of the best movie this summer got to be The Dark Knight. It has been in the top of USA Box-Office since it was released in theater, banking thus far over $394 Millions. The popularity of this movie is maybe due to the death of a young talented actor, Heath Ledger, who played the joker in the movie. All in all, it’s one of the best movie I have seen this summer!
One thing that really caught my attention in the movie was the Batmobile. This ultimate muscle car can handle the roughest roads, like the war roads in Iraq. Can you believe that two guys, Bob Dullam and Bob Causey, had the brilliant idea to make a replica of the Batmobile? The two guys are very good at making specialty items. They specialize in silicone bust, full size statues, specialty costumes, specialty cars, home theaters, movie quality costumes and movie quality cars. Building from scratch in their garages, all parts for the Batmobile are scratch built except the tires, rims, brakes and engine. For them it’s once in a lifetime project and they are not building it for sale. It looks really cool but I just wonder if it’s a bulletproof Batmobile.
If you have a special item that you always wanted but didn’t know who could build it for you? Well good news…the two Bob are now taking commission work. To see more of their homemade replica collections, you can visit their website at Dullam-Causey.com.
