These are just great! It makes me wonder why someone did not think of this sooner. Even if they had they would have een hard pressed to do a better job than this. A friend of mine once told me that all of the great artist’s of our day are in advertising. I think that is more true than ever.

I want to comment on the bus stop. I love these new bus stops! Such a great venue to place creative efforts. And many do not disappoint.

Chicago has had them in for several years. Mayor Daley saw them in Europe so we are told and even though they are expensive to intall, they are great revenue generators and that is why the city has them. I wanted to place something and inquired about the rates. If you want a spot that sits downtown and is about 30 blocks square, the rate for one bus stop for one month is $60K.

No, not stained glass. Translux (plastic film) or equivalent. Some stops are motorized and the image changes like a window shade on a continuous loop.

I highly doubt it was made of “real” stained glass but it was beautiful regardless and would catch my attention if I had seen this while walking down the street. Very fresh idea that I think might pay off.

Is it actual stained glass (in which case, I would be worried about vandals) or a stick on image which looks like stained glass (in which case it is very realistic)?
