Being a landlord and having tenants is a huge responsibility and sometimes can be tough. There are all kinds of tenants and you can never be sure to have the ‘perfect tenants’. It’s always 50/50 in any case until you know them better. But what if you come across bad tenants that don’t pay the monthly rent and later learn that they didn’t clean the apartment for ages.. Surprise Surprise!
That’s exactly what happened to one landlord. A female resident who had an outstanding balance for over a month and no one could get in touch with her. And so the bookeeper went inside after so many tries to leave a note and this is the surprising discovery…

Angel Oak: 1,500 Years Old Oak Tree
Written on September 18, 2008 by KiwiPulse · Posted in Various · 10 Comments
The Angel Oak is one of the most famous landmarks on Johns Island, South Carolina, US. What’s so impressive about this live oak tree is that it’s approximately 1,500 years old. The local people called it simply ‘The Tree’. I guess because it’s the only tree around that is so huge and ancient. The Tree has a diameter of spread reaching 160 feet, a circumference of nearly 25 feet and covers 17,100 square feet of ground. Normally a live oak tree don’t grow out and up but this special tree has had plenty of time to do both! They said that this tree has survived countless hurricanes, floods, earthquakes and human interference, so there’s a good chance it will still be there waiting for you.
The Charleston City Council has just approved a plan to put 600 homes and a shopping center on the property surrounding the Angel Oak. It’s good news that the Angel Oak will not be cut down and will remain a natural Low Country treasure visited daily by schools, tourists and locals. An online petition have been opened to protest against the developers who are planning to cut down 55 other grand trees so they can squeeze in as many buildings as possible! Please help them out in the fight against this terrible plan by signing their petition. These days most business people will destroy our earth’s natural beauty just to make more money. ![]()

In life everyone need a break or a temporary escape from reality sometimes. Whether it’s to help reduce stress, fill the emptiness or to relief the pain and sorrow in one’s life, people often tend to do things that they will not normally do. Some people may turn to positive activities like playing games, gardening, blogging, or shopping while other may turn to negative activities such as drinking, gambling, or taking drugs which potentially can ruin or kill one’s life. A big applause goes to those who choose the positive options. But unfortunately, for those who choose the negative path it can lead them to addiction because it has become their new way of life overtime. The addiction sometimes can dominate the mind and cause the addicts to steal, lie or even become abusive to their family members and friends.
Getting addicted maybe very easy but realizing that it’s a problem is not so easy. Addictions don’t happen overnight so it will take some time to recover. But the very first step to recovery is for the addicts to admit that they have a problem and want to seek professional help. Experts say that an addict take great steps to hide their habit. Even if you know someone who has an addiction problem, you can’t control their habit or stop them unless they really want your help. An addict has to recognize that they have a problem before you can take steps to help them overcome it. Until then, all you can do is make them aware that you’re prepared to offer your support when they’re ready.

The Dark Knight: Scratch Built Of The Batmobile
Written on August 7, 2008 by KiwiPulse · Posted in Various · 14 Comments
One of the best movie this summer got to be The Dark Knight. It has been in the top of USA Box-Office since it was released in theater, banking thus far over $394 Millions. The popularity of this movie is maybe due to the death of a young talented actor, Heath Ledger, who played the joker in the movie. All in all, it’s one of the best movie I have seen this summer!
One thing that really caught my attention in the movie was the Batmobile. This ultimate muscle car can handle the roughest roads, like the war roads in Iraq. Can you believe that two guys, Bob Dullam and Bob Causey, had the brilliant idea to make a replica of the Batmobile? The two guys are very good at making specialty items. They specialize in silicone bust, full size statues, specialty costumes, specialty cars, home theaters, movie quality costumes and movie quality cars. Building from scratch in their garages, all parts for the Batmobile are scratch built except the tires, rims, brakes and engine. For them it’s once in a lifetime project and they are not building it for sale. It looks really cool but I just wonder if it’s a bulletproof Batmobile.
If you have a special item that you always wanted but didn’t know who could build it for you? Well good news…the two Bob are now taking commission work. To see more of their homemade replica collections, you can visit their website at Dullam-Causey.com.
