ESOM Music Store: Lose The CDs
February 24, 2008 – 10:02 am | Written by KiwiPulse
I found these ads very brilliant! Since I have brought my Ipod two years ago, I never went back to buying any music CDs again. With all the music softwares out there like Itunes, I can download only the songs that I like rather than spending my money on an album where I will only listen to one or two songs. Not money worth spent, if you think about it! I guess for many people, the CD Drive is only useful for installing games and softwares. As I can see my CD drive, like my old floppy disk drive ( I know… my computer is very old!), is not home to music CDs anymore. ESOM the online music store have found a very creative way to execute the message that music CDs are long gone. Burn Baby Burn!

That first one wouldn’t go well in America, but all the others are great!

Agree, and it would not go well in Denmark either
Just result in burning of more flags..
But they are all well created, some creative minds at play.

Absolutely brilliant creatives.
I didn’t understand what the first one was until you explained it and then I saw the other creatives! I thought it was about piracy and how buying them will give money to the terrorists to bomb everyone else!
(I don’t know if you realize that there are a lot of theories about how music and movie pirated discs are actually run by terrorist cartels.)

Those are really funny. and i remember, not so long ago we were saying the same thing about audio cassettes, but they are still around (kind of).
I saw a compilation of ads that use the center part of the CD creatively before, but I think these are way better - the cartoonish style is great. Nice finds!
