Grand Central Station: 207 Frozen People
February 8, 2008 – 2:31 am | Written by KiwiPulse
Between the 42nd Street and Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan in New York City you will find the world largest and very busy train station, the Grand Central Station. Over 500,000 people rush through Grand Central every day and nothing seem to slow them down. Except for one Saturday in January ‘08, commuters and tourists stopped to surprisingly notice people around them being frozen like wax people in the museum. This is the work of 207 agents from Improv Everywhere ; they were assigned to freeze in place for 5 minutes in Grand Central Station. Improve Everywhere is well known for causing scenes of chaos and joy in the public places. This video really ROCK MY WORLD! I hope you enjoyed watching the video as much as I did.

Good story. I think that the author could be a good writer. Thanks.
Yes, I wish that I had been there to catch the reactions of people. Some shown, like the cart driver and the visitor, were inadequate. Over all, one hell of a prank to pull off. What imagination!
Awesome.
Shame on the guy who poked one of them!

Great idea, to say nothing of great execution. I find it quite difficult to stay absolutely still for any length of time, so that kind of coordinated lack of motion must have been difficult.
