Grand Theft Auto IV: Paradis In Liberty City

One of the games that I have been following and playing is Grand Theft Auto (GTA). On April 29, 2008 the fourth release of GTA will be available to everyone on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. You have probably heard of this game because Rockstar have been marketing the game heavily using different forms of media which includes television ads, internet videos, viral marketing and a redesigned website.

The game will be set in Liberty City which is heavily based on two U.S cities, New York City and New Jersey. It’s the story of Niko Bellic, an Eastern European in his mid 30s, who was persuaded to move to Liberty City by his cousin, Roman. Roman claimed that he was living a fabulous life in a mansion with sexy women, hot tubs and sports cars. Niko, with his own personal problems at home, decided to come to Liberty City to pursue the “American Dream”. Roman’s claims turn out to be lies to hide his own failures. In reality he only owns a small taxi business and is heavily in debt with a lot of people chasing after him. That’s why he wants Niko to work for him. He desperately needs Niko’s support, hence the reason he deceived Niko into travelling to Liberty City. Together they seek to pursue gangster glory in a chaotic and violent world.

What I find interesting in this release is the Multiplayer feature which support 16 players. But the game only allows you to play deathmatch and racing game. As a big fan of this game, I can’t wait until it is released! Are you a fan of GTA games?

I’m not much into gaming really. But I have friends who could skip meals because of them!

I don’t have an XBOX or PS3, but I hope Take2 will release the PC version before the end of the year

My friend’s son was playing this game.. I think the same version or an older one. I could not believe how different games are today. This in particular (though it has alot of violence), seemed entertaining especially because you have the freedom to do what you want in the game. You can either play the game, or drive into stores!

I was told it was only being launched in June, so I am glad to here that it is being released this month. This is the best game ever.

It looks awesome. Sadly I don’t have the machine to run it but may be tempted to geta console if the game is as good as it looks.

Looks like a big graphical improvement. More perspective, less cartoon-like.
