Karma: Yoga Wear For All Levels

April 27, 2008 – 1:22 am | Written by KiwiPulse

Although I never took a yoga course before in my life but I think that people who wear yoga clothes looks more active and casual even if they don’t perform yoga. I guess it’s a way for some people to deceive others that they are fit! Below is an ad campaign by Rethink Communications for Karma, a clothing manufacturer specializing in athletic wear located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since Karma introduced their new Bamboo line in February 2008, it was a breakout success. They are developing and expanding their eco-friendly line and luxury line featuring sumptuous cashmere blends. Rethink Communications has found a very creative way to demonstrate that yoga wear is for everyone!

The ads worked for me — I had to go Google Karma yoga wear and find a retailer. :)

Great advertising campaign. My question is, where they actually taken at those places or is this clever usage of Photoshop.

The scenery in these ads is amazing. Very interesting way to show their clothing is versatile whether you like to exercise or whether you like to relax or work.

Yeah, bamboo fabric doesn’t sound like it would be too comfy, but the fibers are actually really good- I knitted a shirt-sweater from bamboo yarn and it was really soft :)

Wow amazing work of photography you have there! NO wonder karma was a success. This ad shows how comfy, relaxing their yoga wear is. Looking at your ad not only would want you to wear it on yoga classes but also wear it casually anytime and anywhere you want to.
