Lego is proud to announce that they have designed the largest set of LEGO collection. With over 5,900 pieces, they have recreate the breathtaking Taj Mahal. The famous Taj Mahal jewel of India is known all over the globe for its incredible beauty and elegance. The LEGO set comes with the detailed model including the base, minarets, domes, finials, arches, and stairs in the front. The palace is over 20″ (51cm) wide and 16″ (41cm) tall. You can own this modern wonder of the world for yourself for approximately $300US. The Taj Mahal will only be available on September 15th 2008 but you can preorder now on LEGO website.
This a great as a gift for any occasion. I think it’s time for me to start a LEGO collection for my little brother.![]()

I have been to the real Taj and I have to say, it is one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen. This lego set would be a nice gift for my girl but it’s a bit on the pricy side.

Like what adam said.. I’ve been to Taj mahal.. my oh my.. its one of those beautiful monuments.. and dear imagine.. its a monument by shahjahan for his wife mumtaz…. Ain’t that love story worth hearing?
Pss.. here is a trivia.. the hands of the main architect of the taj mahal was chopped down by Shahjahan.. You know why? to prevent him from making such a wonderful masterpiece again…!
