Live Poker: Become The King Of Bluff
My friends and I we share something similar; we like to play poker in the weekend. We are not playing to ruin anybody, it’s just a source of entertainment for us when getting together. Occasionally, some of them will bluff by betting or raising with an inferior hand. This technique is often used in poker and is quite effective. Keep in mind to only bluff if you think that the other players have a small hand. If your bluffing skill is good, the other players will believe that you have a dominant hand and they will fold… and you are guarantee to win the pot. Isn’t that easy?
In my opinion you are taking a big risk by bluffing. Not every opponents will fold to the bluff and the possibility that someone will call is very likely. As a result you might lose all your bets. So not everyone can earn the ‘king of bluff’ title!
Below is the ad campaign by Live Poker Magazine saying you can bluff… to get an old lady arrested for robbery…to join the KKK group as a black man…to win a beauty pageant as a man. I think I prefer bluffing in a poker game and not anywhere else! Do you think it’s a good idea to bluff when playing poker?

Being a very serious poker player, I can assure you that bluffing has a very important role to play in playing poker. One has to know how to do it and also how to read it when someone else is bluffing.
These are all very clever adds.
Regarding poker though, I play poker for a living. Honestly. I work for a company that writes the software for an online poker / casino games. I work in the testing department, and though I am the manager, I still get to spend some time of my work day playing poker. I’ve learnt that bluffing is great, but can be very dangerous too. The best thing I have figured out so far is that you must never bluff too often. Just once in a while will confuse your opponents even more

Poker cannot be played without bluffing. Bluffing is the very essence of the game.
You have to bluff to play poker. Of course I like to switch it up. play conservative when i have nothing then sometimes try to buy the pot. Keep them wondering what I am up too. Helps if the river goes your way too!

Of course, ya gotta bluff. It’s one of those few times in life, when it’s ok to lie. Kind of fun to.

I don’t play poker but I think bluffing is okay…Why a little fun is forbidden?
Bluffing sometimes can be advantageous, for instance if you’re trying to sell your second hand car. A good bluff will nett you some extra $$$ if you catch a dealer with a supposed price his competitor offered for your item.
