Magic Fish Spa
A newly emerged “fish spa” is becoming fashionable in many hot spring resorts, and has attracted even more customers, all curious about this peculiar treatment. In Japan, fish are being used in spa treatments. I’m not pulling your leg, although these fishes might. The customer soaks in water stocked with fishes that nibble on their skin, removing dead cells and reportedly clearing up skin conditions.

Wow! That’s amazing! Not for the ticklish though ;o)
Would eating the fish make one a cannibal ??
Just something new. I already have heard of a chocolate spa in Israel and volcanic ashes spa in Pampanga, the Philippines.
In traditional spa, every piece of clothing should be removed. In the case of the photo above, they could have removed everything so fishes could nibble every parts of their body…
And what fish are those? Any scientific explanation?
Great post.. Not sure I’d feel comfortable with all those fish on me though!

I saw similar SPA in Hungary. They not only use fish to relax you while you bathe, you can also go fishing in a nearby pond and catch the dinner yourself. Very relaxing indeed.
