I was just trying to point out that in this case (the Surface), Microsoft is very innovative. Apple is also innovative. I pre-emptively brought up the iPhone because some people try to discount the innovativeness of Surface by saying stuff like "Microsoft copied the iPhone with the Surface but couldn't make it as small! haha!" which I'm sure you can see is not a reasonable point.
