It looks like Will Ferrell is coming back to the big screen with this comedy about basketball in the early 1980s. Ferrell play Jackie Moon, the owner-coach-player of the American Basketball’s Association’s Flint Michigan Tropics and he will do just everything to make his NBA dreams a reality. In order to achieve his dream of owning a basketball team, he will use his one-hit wonder chart-topping song “Love Me Sexy”. The only way for the team to survive is to do the seemingly impossible..WIN! An another movie from Will Ferrell that I will definately not miss! The Semi-Pro movie will be released to theaters on February 29 2008. I hope this is good. I am very scared that Will Ferrel will become a parody of himself!
My fave recent film of his was Stranger Than Fiction. I think he should do more projects like that.

I agree with Forest Parks, Ferrel’s film Stranger Than Fiction brought out a different side to his acting abilities - a new dimension if you will - that could get him at least an Oscar nomination if he continues on that path. Like Tom Hanks, he can evoke emotions that are beyond the usual goofy expressions he is so used to doing.

While I would like to be proved wrong, I think that WF has done something that will be much less critically acclaimed than his role in Stranger than fiction.
