My World: Best Place To Be Far From Humanity

As human being, sometimes we like to be alone in a quiet place far from everything to find peace of mind…away from the noise of pollution i.e. TV, computer, cars, people, etc. It may be a deliberate choice or a contagious disease. Let me explain, for myself I find my solitude when I am in my world (my room!) blogging. In my closed world I can hide from others who all day don’t give up on searching for me. It’s not because I do not wish to see them, it’s just that I want to remove all distractions around me so that it’s easier to concentrate, reflect or meditate. I think I am becoming a monk but temporary I’m not looking for spiritual enlightenment, but just giving myself ‘me time’ as a reward for my mind. What is the best place for you to be far from humanity? Maybe in space? You wish!

It is reassuring to see that others feel the same way KiwiPulse :) I also enjoy the retreat into my study and my blogging or reading. Perhaps I will put my lovely headphones on and let one of my musical friends hide me deeper into my “wee world”. Underwater is also brilliant for “hiding out”! Cheers
I can understand your need to be alone KiwiPulse, but I don’t think I’d like to go that far out in space. The photos are very serene and it looks really peaceful. Looking at the Earth from that distance makes you think of how small we really are, yet there are so many conflicts that trouble us. Our world has taken quite a beating in the last 2000 years, and its gasping for survival. If you can really get up there, post the exhilarating experience so we can read about it and share your ecstasy. For now, I am satisfied with being in my small study and view pics from my laptop to have some peace. - Durano done!
I really would like to be in space and have a look on earth from there. I really would like to get that feeling. One of the best times to be alone is when i am on my bicycle or when i am jogging. These pictures are very very beautiful. :roll:

My favorite place to get away is by grabbing a tent and going up in the hills. Though it can get kind of chilly at night, I sometimes like to grab my girlfriend too!

This is a lovely post, and you definitely have a nice, comforting blog going on here! Regarding the whole solitude issue, I’ve long been pondering it as well, and I think it’s best that you learn to shut off your mind even when you’re surrounded by confusion and mayhem… that way you can always get the best of both worlds! ;)
