Games: Guitar Hero on DS Set to Rock Your World!
Guitar Hero: On Tour is the new game by Vicarious Visions which is to be released on the much more portable gaming platform the DS. This version of the popular Guitar Hero series will use a “Guitar grip” which plugs into the Game Boy Advance slot and has four buttons instead of the usual five located on the end of the device. It also comes with a stylus which is made to look like a guitar pick and strap to make sure you don’t drop your DS during those very intense jamming sessions. It took the development team over 20 prototypes to come up with the design but it sure payed off.
You play the game like you would with any other Guitar Hero game pushing the buttons and strumming in time but instead of using a “strum bar” you use the touch screen to do all strumming with the stylus. Game play consist of career mode and quick play which you can play on your own but the real fun will come from the multiplayer games featuring a co-operative mode and a battle mode where you can use new items to give a little flavor to the usual vs mode. It is also said to feature more master tracks then ever offered on a Guitar Hero and have the ability to customize your experience with 6 characters to chose from (2 of them exclusive to the DS), 5 different venues and heaps of different guitars.
Set to be released on the 22nd of June this is definately a game you should be saving up for!

With great features built in, like the battle mode, multiplayer, with 5 different venues and heaps of guitars, and you can even customize it. Am sure this game would be famous for guitar lovers out there. But still, the experience is different from using the actual guitar.
After a long time, you have posted on gaming! This takes up too much time and so, I stay away from games.
I guess it was only a matter of time before this came out! It looks a little awkward, but nonetheless it is cool that it can be played on DS.
Long time no new update. Nice to have you back here again. Good stuff, but I think holding the real guitar looks more cool.
I must get with this gaming thing i think! I can just about manage solitaire on the computer

Guitar Hero on PS2 is an excellent one. But in DS, its awesome!
im a fan of guitar hero on my wii. but not sure if it’s a good idea on the ds. I like playing with the fake guitar. I don’t think it’ll be as fun on a portable player. Also, i just unlocked my iphone and got some free guitar hero type applications on my iphone. can’t beat free.

I always realise how much drive music adds to our existence.
This is an awesome game for these very same air guitar playing folk, with real sound coming out of their efforts! Cheesy, but the fun factor is huge (just like a karaoke machine…)
Its truly amazing the new gadgets that they come up with, that really looks like a lot of fun.
This game literally rocks but causes me severe hand cramps after about two hours

Everything is fine, I just can’t find the time to write posts as regular. Since the summer festivals have been starting here in Montreal, Canada I just can’t resist to participate at those events. For example I was at the International Jazz Festival of Montreal Monday which I had the chance to see Jully Black performing live.. She’s so FIERCE!
