RollingStone Magazine: Stirring Up Your Head

The RollingStone magazine is largely regarded as the predominant music promotional force in American culture, alongside the likes of MTV. Appearing on the cover of Rolling Stone has become something of a milestone in the career of many famous artists and remains the aspiration of many up-and-coming musicians. Some artists have graced the cover many times, some of these pictures will soon become iconic. The Beatles, for example, have appeared on the cover over thirty times, either individually or as a band.

In celebrating their first year of publication in Brazil they showcased the following ads below. I don’t see any original concept in these ads, but I have to respect this magazine that Rock My World!

    The flames look really nice, but some of the shadowing is really off and it’s kind of off putting.

    looks great! but after reading funny’s comment, the shadow in the third picture really looked off…
