SFOPH 2008 Campaign: Love Life Stop Aids

These ads may be rated R, restricted to 18 years old and older, but it has a very important message. This 2008 LOVE LIFE STOP AIDS campaign is run by the Federal Office of Public Health (SFOPH) and the Swiss Aids Federation. The aim is to empower people to protect themselves against infection with HIV, especially on special occasions like holidays, business trips or parties. Remember to always have condoms with you. You never know when and where you will have the urge to do …you know what! Whether it’s…

…under the sea.

Love Life Stop Aids

…in the jungle on holidays.

Love Life Stop Aids

…in the cave at night-time.

Love Life Stop Aids

…on a business trip to Mars.

Interesting ads, but I’m not sure if this is the right approach.

Excellent Ad Campaign!!

Bottom Line is it’s all about SEX & Sex Sells!!

It is thee Only way to Get the Message Out to the Largest Number of People*

And if it gets People Thinking + god forbid Discussing this then Fantastic!! Maybe even one o those Pompous Pious Holier-than-Thou Clowns like Bush or the Pope will state the obvious Sex Education + Wearing Condoms CAN reduce the Spread of AIDS*

Cheers! + Peace*

A good campaign by the Federal Office of Public Health (SFOPH) and the Swiss Aids Federation in empowering people to protect themselves from getting HIV, but we may need to add that we don’t only get HIV infection by, you know what!
HIV can also be transmitted when receiving infected blood transfusion; when sharing hypodermic needles (drug users); and during pregnancy and childbirth.

For the purpose designed, these will grab the attention of those who need to be careful. Otherwise, I personally believe that they have perhaps gone overboard.

A little controversial for sure, but sometimes getting people talking is enough to get the message across.

Quite interesting and effective, and i see that they have done the politically correct thing by including one same sex couple as well.

I can see people complaining about these ads, but really it isn’t any worse than what you can see on TV shows. It gets the point across and definitely gets attention.

The pictures are too suggestive, not sure if the message gets across or not.
