Hi - I had been looking for a better RSS icon. And it is late now - in the UK, so I will need to subscribe to your RSS so I can get one of these tomorrow. Thank you.

I’m a guitar hacker - so I love those feed icons shaped like a pick!

But in all seriousness, I think it’s better not to get too fancy with the feed icons. Most of us bloggers can recognise them easily, so if it’s a different shape we’ll be fine - but there are many people out there who still don’t know much about feeds.

Having a standard icon will help these people recognise it. They might have trouble recognising what the guitar pick icons mean (despite the obviousness to us because of the colour). Sets 1 and 4 above seem fine, but personally I’ll pass on the others for this reason (as much as I love the guitar one!!).
